CTO CHALLENGE #4 celebrate the occasion
I am also using this for the   Fantabulous Cricut Blogspot Challenge # 51

Challenge #4.
This week's theme is " St. Patrick's Day" .  So, create a card, layout or project  and post by Sunday, March 13th, 11:59pm (EST).  The winner will be selected and entered into our monthly drawing.  March's prize will be "ROCK PRINCESS" cricut cartridge!

RECIPE:
This project was made from  an empty Finish dishwasher tab container.
I first made holes in the top with the crop-a -dial. Then I took 3/16th inch dowels and cut them down to 12"length. I made various sizes of the shamrock from Paper doll dress up cartridge. Two images were needed  for each dowel. After gluing tissue paper to the dowels I then, sandwiched the dowel between the shamrocks. I covered the container with green paper. I cut out the fence from PDDU @2 1/2" I needed two sheets to go all the way around. I then cut out the pot of gold at 6 inches and and used stickles for the gold. I used Mrs. Grossman's stickers for the rainbow. I designed the lettering from Gypsy wanderings on the gypsy at 1 inch high and welded all the letters together. The flag was made from a white piece if card stock ,cut at 21/2 by 8” then, folded in half around the dowel and glued together. A piece of green and orange card stock were cut at 2 ½” by 1 5/8” and glued at opposite ends of the white paper
The fence was cut at 2 1/2" high I needed to cut two, to go all the way around the container.
On the back there are 5 1-inch pots-of-gold on the fence, underneath a 5" shamrock which was colored around the edges with Copic markers to give dimension and there is a strip of clover cut at 2" that goes up both sides under the fence. This was a real fun project. I used my baby bug, gypsy and expression for this project.
